“Freedom of Movement” Hip-Hop Jam Closing event of the youth work initiative in the migration society “ju&mi” of the District Youth Council Upper Bavaria with panel, food & music! “Munich, Milan, Migration”: Panel discussion on the topic of freedom of movement, migration, and law – a comparison of challenges and solutions from Italy to Germany. In a time when questions of migration and integration are more in focus than ever, we bring together experts from local politics in Milan and Munich as well as representatives of the Refugee Council and the Migration Council. Together, we want to shed light on the current challenges and opportunities of migration. At the center of the discussion are important questions such as: What does the new citizenship law mean for Germany? What structures exist in Munich and Milan to better support newly arriving refugees? How does the handling of migration differ in the two cities, and what positive aspects can be derived from the experiences in Milan and Munich? Where do refugees in both cities find support and assistance?
