Who are we when the stories that have shaped us fade into oblivion?
When what defines us disappears from our lives?
What remains of us when our origins, in a new context, are neither seen nor heard?

Our stories are roots we rarely reflect on, because they seem self-evident to us.
How does one find their way in a country, in an environment where they are made to feel like a stranger?
A state of suspension arises – between what was and what could be.
Origin, personal and shared memories fade into the background and risk being lost.
Yet it is precisely in these memories that a possibility lies:
To understand one another – and to learn from each other, beyond labels and roles.

Artists from different spheres have come together to engage with the themes of migration and displacement.
