COMMON GROUND

event information:
What does it mean to share common ground when our stories are so different?
When origin, body, language, age, desire, or perspective refuse to align.
Maybe it’s precisely then that it matters most. COMMON GROUND is an invitation.
Twenty photographers set out to explore this ground — not to agree on a single truth,
but to make differences visible, to name what’s missing, and to open spaces for what often goes unseen.
Some works are loud, others cautious.
Some pose questions. Others invite us to linger.
They speak of fractures and resistance, of aging, of feeling foreign, of being embodied.
And of the possibility of encountering one another despite it all.
COMMON GROUND does not mean a middle ground everyone agrees on —
but rather the space that remains when we hold space for difference.
A ground that does not divide, but supports.
We look forward to seeing you.
