Stasis Echoes is an audio-visual installation by artists Bradley Leonard and Alexandra Belokon that explores the suspended state of migration in Germany. The exhibition focuses on the in-betweenness of identity, belonging, and the challenges migrants face as they navigate integration.
Rather than presenting migration as a simple physical relocation, Stasis Echoes reveals it as an ongoing negotiation between personal and societal expectations, where identity and culture are continuously redefined through formal and informal systems, asking whether integration is ever fully achievable or if it remains an evolving, liminal state where individuals must continually adapt without ever being fully accepted.
