event information:
AQ 01 03 by Maria Pia Napolitano de Majo Opening times: Sat: 3pm – 6pm Tue: 6pm – 9pm Finissage and publication 13.06.25Water Me fosters dialogue on some of today’s most pressing ecological and social challenges, using water as a central metaphor. The project explores the delicate balance between visible and invisible forces that shape both our ecological systems and social frameworks. For four electrifying weeks, Water Me transforms Aquarium. Its transmedia approach merges sound, visual art, and performance, creating a dynamic experience born from close collaboration between artists and musicians from Munich, Naples, and Berlin. Water Me is a vibrant ecosystem of art, music, and ideas. It unfolds through a site-specific exhibition, a concert night featuring experimental electronics and techno, a live performance, three public talks with screenings, and an exclusive publication.
Maria Pia Napolitano de Majo is a curator and Ph.D. student in Classics and gender theory at the LMU Munich. Born in Napoli, she has long been immersed in the worlds of art and music. Water Me marks her curatorial debut, the first in a series of upcoming projects exploring community-building and cultural awareness through art. Her research and curatorial interests span gender and identity, posthumanism, power dynamics, countercultures, and the power of art to subvert the present and imagine new futures.at Aquarium by Zirka Cornelia Pazmandi
